Boulder History Museum is supporting Share-A-Gift through the holiday season. Beginning Wednesday, November 20th through December 18th, the Museum will give one free admission with each donation of a new or gently used book, toy, or game. All items collected will be donated to Share-A-Gift, a nonprofit organization that collects and distributes new and gently used toys to hundreds of families in need throughout the Boulder Valley School District each year. There are thousands of children in the Boulder Valley School District who may not get toys this holiday without the generosity of others.
To be successful, Share-A-Gift continues to need thousands of new and used toys, books, games and puzzles, and gifts for older children (ages 12 to 14). Share-A-Gift allows children to meaningfully participate in gift-giving by sharing their own new or used toys and books with families who will appreciate getting them. With the economic turmoil of the past year, we expect a larger number of families in need than ever before...so please help make the holidays happy for all Boulder area families. Again, this year we have a particular need for bicycles.
Tax deductible monetary donations are greatly appreciated.
Please send checks payable to Share-A-Gift, Inc. to:
PO Box 17595

Collection boxes will also be located at many BVSD schools, religious organizations and businesses (visit www.shareagift.org for locations).
